This year we finally made it down to Chinese New Year in Washington DC with our friends the Shemory’s.  The kids loved the excitement of looking for the dragons, and hearing the firecrackers!  They even got in on the action with poppers of there own.  Our favorite was the long dragon who danced and twirled around us with the help of a guide.  It was very cool.  There were lots of people, but the weather was pretty good, so fun was had by all.
