Some HS friends had posted this balancing act on their website, and we decided to give it a try.  The kids were amazed that they could ‘balance’ a ruler on the tables edge with only a mm touching the table.  Even more amazing, Spencer could ‘balance’ the contraption on the tip of his index finger.  This led to more science discoveries of ‘balance’ below.  Is it possible to ‘balance’ 9 nails on one?  Sure it is!  Have a look!
