On Friday we went to a field trip to a local plantation.  Audrey and Spence took a class in open hearth cooking.  We also had a tour of the plantation house.  Sully Plantation is the home of Robert E. Lee’s Uncle.  They were quite wealthy people in their day.  However, I bet they never imagined that airplanes would be flying just a few feet above their majestic maple trees!
