Last week, Emily had her birthday party.  Truly, when her mom told me she was having an “Animal Cops” birthday, I thought they were a little crazy.  But, with a very inventive theme comes a very inventive party favors!  It was great!

First, the ‘calls’ came in and the kids were handed a picture of an animal, and a picture of a location in the yard.  Then, they had to find the ‘injured’ dog, return to the ‘vet’s office’ and repair the damages.  They sewed wounds, gave IV treatment, shots and bandaged the animal.  Then, they got to take it home.  Very cool idea, so I had to show the pictures. 

The birthday girl studies the situation very seriously before taking action.  While others work tirelessly to help save the injured dogs!  Spencer, never one was for blood!

Once all the animals were resting, the usual party merriment followed!
