Not all prairie schooners were plain wood with white canvas tops. Many families decorated their schooners by painting the sides, or hoods to reflect themselves, family values or beliefs. I am not sure, however, any of the prairie schooners had pokemon ball wheels. |

Here we are in Independence, MO where we bought our supplies, and our wagons. Some of us chose our items wisely, while others may find the journey longer than expected with few supplies! |
We enjoyed some grub with our fellow wagon companions. We are sure Spencer and Malena will do fine on the journey, but Audrey may starve. |
