For our Cloverbuds Christmas Party we decorated Christmas cookies!  The kids had a blast decorating the cookies that were made to look like Christmas trees and Gingerbread men.  Each of the kids made their own unique creations!  We also decorated gift bags, made some book marks and had a special visitor.  Not Santa Claus—Linda King, the 4H coordinator for PW county.  She indoctrinated the kids into Cloverbuds.  Now they are all full fledged 4 H-ers!  Maybe the best part was the fact that they got to eat their creations! 

Christmas Cookies and Holiday Hearts, that’s the way the holidays start—do any of you remember that song?  Used to be my favorite as a child… “Some are shaped like evergreen trees, you eat them by twos, you eat them by threes…”  people just stared blankly as I sung.
