Ever since Malena was old enough to walk, she has been crazed over ducks.  They are so cute.  But, in VA you must buy 6 at a time.  I knew I did not want 6 ducks.  So, when my friend Sandy said “I want ducks” it seemed only reasonable we would go in together to get them.  So, I didn’t get 6.  I got four.  All under the guise that they would be released at her inlaws 200 acre farm.  Well, that was all fine when they were mallards babies.  But, we could not get the mallard babies...so we got Peking (the traditional big white ones).  And, I am here to say...their fate is looking questionable right now.  I think they are going to need my back yard fenced...so I better get on that.

They are so cute!  We are glad to have them around here, and Malena can barely stay away from hers!  We are learning a lot about these ducks...but we are certain they are going to be well handled ducks!
